WORKSHOPS
Schedule 
Twice weekly evening sessions from 7.00pm to 9.30pm for six weeks.
This 12-session course involves evening workshop sessions (2 1⁄2 hours per session) twice a week for six weeks at Chengzhu Mandarin Centre (Julia Gabriel Education’s Mandarin enrichment centre).
One class observation will also be arranged for each participant during the course to observe a Speech and Drama session conducted by an experienced teacher.
This programme introduces participants to aspects of Julia Gabriel Centre’s unique EduDrama® methodology and how it can be used when working with young children in Mandarin.
It is designed to enable individuals to feel confident in using imagination, drama and stories to engage young children. Participants develop a range of skills to enhance children’s creative expression and performance skills.

Julia Gabriel Foundation Teaching Certificate (Mandarin Speech & Drama) programme. If an individual
who completes ‘Engaging Young Children Through Drama (Mandarin)’ subsequently decides to go on to do the full
Julia Gabriel Foundation Teaching Certificate (Mandarin Speech & Drama) programme, they will then be exempted
from sessions in the earlier part of that course (with fees adjusted accordingly).
The workshop incorporates aspects covered within the first few sessions of the Julia Gabriel Foundation Teaching Certificate (Mandarin Speech & Drama) programme. So if an individual who completes ‘Engaging Young Children Through Drama (Mandarin)’ subsequently decides to go on to do the full Julia Gabriel Foundation Teaching Certificate (Mandarin Speech & Drama) programme, they will then be exempted from sessions in the earlier part of that course (with fees adjusted accordingly).
